In this context, Piva Group has chosen to undertake a structured and concrete path towards increasingly sustainable development, committing to the preparation of its Sustainability Report. This document represents a fundamental tool for transparency and reporting, through which the company describes its environmental, social, and economic commitments, making the actions undertaken and future objectives measurable and verifiable.
The Sustainability Report was created with the aim of highlighting the results achieved, monitoring the impact of company activities, and strengthening dialogue with all stakeholders: collaborators, customers, suppliers, local communities, and partners. It explores key issues related to environmental responsibility, personal development, safety, corporate ethics, and governance, outlining a vision of long-term growth.

Environment

Reduce waste, enhance recycling and promote reuse

At Piva Group, sustainability is based on concrete and interconnected pillars: responsible material management, waste reduction, and the circular economy.
For us, using materials consciously means reducing waste, promoting recycling, and promoting reuse. In 2023, over 21% of the materials we used came from recycled sources.

We have embarked on a journey toward renewable energy with the installation of a photovoltaic system, which will soon be operational and will allow us to cover up to 40% of our energy needs.

Waste management also follows the same philosophy:

aluminum and PVC are collected and reintroduced into the production cycle
Mineral wool waste is returned to suppliers for reuse

Today, almost all of our waste is destined for recovery, while only a small portion goes to disposal.

Gradually reduce our environmental footprint

Our environmental commitment also includes the careful management of energy, emissions, and water resources. We regularly monitor greenhouse gas emissions, including those related to F-GAS, and calculate Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions to progressively reduce our environmental footprint.

Water, although not part of our production processes, is also managed responsibly: we monitor consumption, promote conscious use, and avoid waste, always returning it to the network after use.

Ethics and Governance

Code of ethics

At Piva Group, we believe that a company's growth must be based on ethics, transparency, and responsibility. Our family-run nature leads us to place people and the values that guide every decision and project at the center.

In recent years, we have strengthened this commitment by introducing dedicated management systems, internal procedures, and obtaining corporate and product certifications.

In 2023, we formalized our Code of Ethics, which defines the principles underlying our activities. Thanks to this, we operate without non-compliance, corruption, or unfair practices.

Whistleblowing

We have also initiated processes related to Model 231, implementing a secure and confidential whistleblowing system, and introduced an accident and near-miss management procedure to strengthen workplace safety and prevent future risks.

Our governance is based on transparency, accountability, and fairness. We follow the traditional model established by the Italian Civil Code, which ensures a balance between strategic direction, control, and auditing.
